Mural commissioned by The Provincetown Public Arts Foundation

Commissioned by the Provincetown Public Arts Foundation, Outer/Under Cape is a digital reproduction of a large-scale collage printed on Dibond and installed on the Trap Shed at MacMillan Pier in Provincetown, MA.

Constructed from painted, printed, and manipulated boxes along with other made and found detritus, the work blends box imagery, oceanic elements, and references to the Outer Cape. The layered composition continues an exploration of place, memory, and the shifting structures of home.

Conversation with Yvette Drury Dubinsky, Buzz Spector, and Amanda Verbeck

A conversation in the context of Yvette Drury Dubinsky’s new work in painting, printmaking, and meditating on the passage of time during her solo exhibition Searching for Peace at A.I.R. Gallery. Searching for Peace is evidence of the inevitable interplay between an artist’s solitary workings in the studio and those of a turmoiled outside world. While serious in subject matter, Dubinsky’s work is also intuitive and playful — a metaphor for a multifaceted life.
